file at the DLCA's Licensing Division before a business
license may be issued:
- Certificate
of Trade Name/Corporation Registration
All businesses except non-dba sole proprietorships must
show proof of trade name and/or corporate registration
with the Lt. Governor's Office. Contact the Lt. Governor's
Office for fees and details.

Some businesses will need to submit to a review by miscellaneous
V.I. Government Agencies depending on type of licenses
requested. For instance, any food related business will
need compliance recommendations from the V.I. Department
of Health.
NOTE: As part of the DLCA's One Stop Licensing
Program, V.I. Government Agency Recommendations will
be initiated on business's behalf by the DLCA's Division
of Licensing upon submission of application for licensure.
To avoid unneccessary delays, please make sure your
business is ready for inspection and has complied with
all rules and regulations concerning your type of business
and/or profession prior to submitting your business
license application.
